What is HTSCC?
Spreading over 39,600 square-meters, this iconic base is the first Hino Total Support Customer Center (HTSCC) built outside its home country, Japan. Located in Sendayan Tech Valley, HTSCC provide trainings and techniques, namely its “Safety & Eco-cien Driver Training” and “Driver Familiarization Training”. Simply stick to Kaizen philosophy; Hino will continually deliver great businesses through the provision of excellent products and services.

HTSCC Driver Training Modules have been structured to educate drivers, fleet managers, mechanics & logistics personnel the eco-cien driving method. A driving method that leads to lower fuel consumption, lesser emissions and reduced wear & tear. This in turn, minimises downtime and maintenance costs, while improving working conditions for drivers.
Beyond eco-cien driving, the benefits of our training modules include:

Driver Familiarisation Training
This module is most useful for owners, supervisors, drivers and mechanics who are first-time buyers of Hino vehicles. You will learn about a Hino vehicle’s safety features, specifications, specialised devices, driving methods and daily maintenance procedures. You will also be invited to participate in a HMMMY Factory Tour as well as a HTSCC Gallery Tour.

Safety & Eco-Cien Driver Training
This module is most useful for owners, supervisors, drivers and mechanics who are first-time buyers of Hino vehicles. You will learn about your vehicle’s features, safety driving methods and eco-driving techniques with before-and-after computer comparisons.

Accustomed Driver Training (ADT)
This module is most useful for owners, supervisors, drivers and mechanics who are first-time buyers of Hino vehicles. You will learn driving skills to properly operate your Hino vehicle and get accustomed to it. Lectures and practice sessions at the HTSCC Driving Track will go into details about vehicle specifications, features, vehicle devices, followed by a before-and-after evaluation session.

Safety Driver Training
This program is most useful for owners, supervisors and drivers who want comprehensive knowledge about how to safely operate their vehicles, including safety driving aspects in various driving conditions. You will learn about Hino vehicle specifications, safety procedures and eco-driving techniques through lecture and computer-assisted practice sessions.

Eco-Driving Training
This program is most useful for owners, supervisors and drivers who want comprehensive knowledge about driving efficiency and how to operate their vehicles while utilising eco-driving methods. You will learn eco-driving methods and techniques in class and on the track, that will efficiently maximise the potential of Hino vehicles.

Night Driving Training
This module is most useful for owners, supervisors and drivers of Hino vehicles who want comprehensive knowledge about how they deliver optimum performance safely, even while driving at night. You will learn about proper lighting, battery systems and driving under various night-time environments and conditions.

KYT (HPT, LRB) & Human Reaction Driver Training
This module is most useful for owners, supervisors and drivers who want to learn and adopt advanced human reaction, road driving, risk reduction and efficiency techniques while operating their Hino vehicle safely. You will learn about hazard protection, danger prediction, human reaction and safety driving through lectures and practice sessions.

Advanced Driver Training
This premier and advanced 5-day program is most useful for owners, supervisors and drivers of Hino vehicles that value excellence in operations, handling and safety of their vehicles. The results of this course are measured through comprehensive certification and professional training.

Trainer Training for Safety and Eco-cien Driving
This master-level module is most useful for teachers and practitioners of the HTSCC Driver Training Course who wish to conduct driver training as a certified trainer. You will learn how to impart the necessary knowledge about safety driving and eco-driving in a more efficient manner.
