Other notable features of the HINO 500 Series GH Models include

Full air brake - as compared to the "air over hydraulic brake" in the previous models Parking brake on rear wheels - as compared to the "parking brake on transmission output shaft" in the previous model

The upgraded HINO 700 Series SH Models, the HINO SH1EERG and the HINO SH1EERA, put comfort and safety as priority with key upgrades that redefine the industry standard. The HINO SH1EERG which equipped with rear air suspension is uniquely designed to target sensitive cargo transporter such as petroleum tanker hauler and electronic goods transportation. Cabin comfort is one of the major concerns among heavy commercial vehicle drivers who often travel for long distance. The HINO 700 Series Sh Models are equipped with full floating cabin with the objective to reduce driver fatigue and help drivers to stay alert.

Following the introduction of the upgraded HINO 500 Series and the HINO 700 Series, the company is set to further strengthen their market leader position. In year 2011, HINO enjoyed a 51% market share within the mid-heavy commercial vehicle category, making HINO the best-selling brand. The company is targeting approximately 10% increase in sales as they continue to evolve with the current demands of the fast growing transportation industry in Malaysia.

 

In addition to the launch of the upgraded HINO 500 Series GH Models and HINO 700 Series SH Models, Hino Motors Ltd. (Japan) has recently entered a joint-venture agreement with long-time partner, MBM Resources Berhad, to inaugurate its first manufacturing plant in Malaysia. This expansion move will open a new chapter for HINO to provide full-fledge services from manufacturing to sales. It is a proof of Hino Motors Ltd.'s long term commitment to the local market.
