Hino 3S Centre Expansion And Relocation To Accommodate Rapid Growth - Daihatsu Ipoh Branch

IPOH, 20th December 2018 – Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (DMSB) is one of Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM) authorized dealers, today has announced the new office of its 3S Center which comprises of Sales, Aftersales Service and Spare Parts, in Ipoh.


DMSB collaborates as dealerships for the sale and after-sales service of Hino trucks and buses since 2010 and starts expanding their branches into eight outlets and six authorised service centre, nationwide.


The new office has not only been designed to increase efficiency for all departments but also reflects DMSB’s innovative company goals that focus upon delivering quality customer service. This initiative possibly will develop stronger organization with new workplace environment.


The Executive Director of DMSB, Mr. Makoto Ogawa, said in his opening speech, “This new showroom is to further help not just on improving the sales numbers but also to enhance our overall customer experience. As some of you may have known, we have come a long way in establishing our partnership with Hino Malaysia.”


“One of the main considerations of this new outlet is to unify Sales and Aftersales service under one roof to form a comprehensive 3S centre. This further solidifies DMSB commitment to strengthen better customer service with not just by offering reliable product, but with quality service as well.” he added.


Refer to the previous office, Sales and Services department were located to two different locations, and DMSB team has upgrading the new branch with a complete department includes; Sales, Service and Spare Parts. The new infrastructure gives compatible environment to customers as the new office acts as a one stop centre with a built-up area of 84,942 sq. ft. while the service centre is equipped with 11 bays and three hoists.


As mentioned by Mr. Makoto Ogawa, they will practise the Culture of Continuous Improvement or known as KAIZEN within their new workplace environment as he notices the practice is a great mechanism in business field.


“I am proud to share that our monthly service intakes have doubled up in numbers and there’s been increased in revenue following the implementation of KAIZEN practices here in Ipoh since August 2018,” he said in the speech.


According to Mr. Ken Iwamoto, the Managing Director of HMSM, innovation in business strategy is not only about physical infrastructure. What are equally important is the fortitude of the organization and also the support given to the valued customers.


“Creating an innovation system needs more than just physical infrastructure. New workplace means new surrounding and environments which indeed will bring the new spirit to all staff. Apart from that, I believe, this new office is to value and cherish partnership. With mutual passion, we can move towards achieving mutual goals,” he said during the opening speech.
“We at Hino, always aims to contribute and deliver the best for our customers’ business. Besides endeavouring in developing high quality metal products, we also concern on after-sales values,” he added.


Pertaining to the road and vehicle safety awareness, and also after-sales values, Hino has built the first training centre in Southeast Asia that is equipped with training circuit to provide solid training for truck drivers. With the Hino Total Support Customer Center in Sendayan, Hino strives to deliver the best support to the valued customers with optimal training programs includes driver safety training, eco-driving and driver familiarization training.


The inauguration of the new 3S centre was officiated by the Managing Director of HMSM, Mr. Ken Iwamoto, together with management team from DMSB, the Executive Director, Mr Makoto Ogawa, and the General Manager En. Arman Mahadi, with witnessed by all guests that present to enliven the ceremony.


Amid the relocation of the branch office, DMSB team may execute exchanges of experiences, methodologies, and work practices as well as guide them in anticipating seeing the future progress. In addition, the new location is a catalyst in accelerating business run, on top of accommodates the rapid growth.
